About CSCA

Camp Sherman Community Association was formed in 1948 to meet the social and civic needs of the Camp Sherman Community. Its primary mission is the care, preservation, and operation of the Community Hall.It also seeks to promote the joining of friends, family and neighbors through the annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser in July and the Cabin Fever Potlucks in January and February — plus any other special events we can think up.


Those who own property or rent long-term in the Camp Sherman area are eligible for membership in the CSCA. Annual dues are $40 for a family, covering the membership year from July 1 to June 30. Funds raised through dues and CSCA fundraising activities are dedicated to preserving, maintaining, and operating the Community Hall.


Members receive two newsletters per year, focused on upcoming events and any other notable news concerning the Metolius River Basin. Members are eligible to rent the Community Hall for special events such as weddings or reunions. The contact person for rentals is Tonye Phillips <tonyebelinda@yahoo.com> 541-595-6458.


Another great way to become involved is by volunteering. Helping at the old-fashioned Pancake Breakfast is so much fun!


The Community Hall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005 through a tremendous volunteer effort by the people of Camp Sherman. This sense of community is everywhere and we invite you to join us in contributing to it!
